Exploring the Heath-a manifold experience

The possibilities to explore the Heath in the Nature Park are manifold. For example

• walks through the smaller heather areas such as the Marxener Paradise, or the heather garden in Schneverdingen

• long hikes through the Naturepreserve, e.g. to the automobile free town of Wilsede, or to Wilsede Hill

• coach trips, offered by certified businesses

• nature and landscape guided tours for all taste

• a visit to the Heather Blossoming Festival in the region

• and also a visit to the shepherds and their Heidschnucken.
